Sapphire locked the bathroom door from behind and went to sit in the water closet. She buried her face in her palms and began to cry silently.

All this while, she had been trying her best, acting strong and pretentiously believing that this person would ever get to her.

Again, the reason she had not told Daniel was that she wanted to be sure if this person was her enemy or not.

All he could have done was talk to her gently. How could he think she was having fun with it?

She lived and stayed in fear each time, especially when she was still in her room. It was only recently when she started staying with Daniel that it reduced.

She knew it was wrong to have kept it from him too, but she had no choice.
