OBLIVION.

SAPPHIRE’S POV.

I might not know a lot of things, but I was aware of something. Daniel was hiding something from me.

There was no way to find out. I could not find it out unless he told me.

While we both prepared for work, we did not say anything to each other, and by the time we got to the dining room, it was almost eleven.

I had slowed us down. If it were up to only him, he might have finished about thirty minutes earlier.

I entered the bathroom before him and I had spent a lot of minutes there before I came out.

When we got to the dining table, we met Kira there and I frowned in confusion as they both looked away from each other without exchanging pleasantries.

Daniel handed me my coffee and I collected it while I took glances at the lady who stuffed bread in her mouth.

“Hurry up,” he said as he took a sip and dropped it on the table.

“You’re not taking your coffee again?” I asked as he walked out of the room.

“I’m coming!” I added when he did not answer me.

What a cranky man!
