LIAM AND HILDA.

LIAM’S POV.

I crossed my arms across my chest while I took glances at the crying woman who sat beside me.

I shook my head, smacked my tongue, and then removed a handkerchief from my pocket, and then handed it over to her.

Hilda pressed her lips together and wiped her tears with the back of her hand before she finally collected the handkerchief from me and then watched as I tightened my arms across my chest back and she looked away from me.

I shook my head as I heard the woman blow her nose into the handkerchief and I took another look at her.

Anyone who does not know her would think she was a vulnerable and pitiful woman. If I had not met her before, I would have thought that way too, not to lie.

Right now, her face was swollen from crying too much and I was almost looking like a bad person as the people who walked past us would not stop giving me some looks.

God knows I was not the reason she was crying anyway.

“Thank you,” Hilda groaned as she stretched the handkerchief to me.
