DRAMATIC WOMAN.

DANIEL’S POV.

I sat on the chair beside Sapphire’s bed and took her warm hand in mine gently and fondled it. I stared at her pale lips and her white face. I hated the way she lay on the bed and the way her hair sprawled on the pillow.

“I’m sorry,” I sniffed and dropped her hand on my cheek while my hand was still on hers.

“It’s all my fault,” I mumbled and then dropped her hand gently.

I dropped my hand on her cheek and caressed it gently. I wished that she would just wake up with the usual frowny face and then tell me to stop being sentimental.

I did not know how much I liked my wife until now.

I mean, I knew that I liked her, but I felt like I did not know how much I did until now.

I should have treated her better.

If she was going to go through something like this because of me, I should have treated her much better.

I should have been good to her. I should have let her have her way and never yelled at her.

Of course, it would not have changed anything, but it would have at least
