“Here, you're going to love this.”

Sapphire grinned as Mogan dropped the tray of hot soup in front of her.

“You prepared it?” She asked as she picked up the spoon.

“Of course. That’s why I am here, and I will keep preparing your meals as long as I am here. Now, try it,” she patted her and Sapphire smiled.

She scooped the soup into the spoon, blew it gently, and then sipped it.

She broadened her eyes, dropped the spoon, and covered her mouth with the back of her hand.

“Why? You don’t like it?”

“It is so delicious!” She exclaimed and Mogan clasped her hands together in excitement.

“Have more,” Mogan said.

As Sapphire drank the soup, she sniffed as tears threatened to fall from her face. She kept her head buried so that Mogan would not notice as it kept getting uncontrollable.

“What’s wrong? Your stomach still hurts?” Mogan asked as she patted Sapphire’s back.
