DANIEL’S POV.

I palmed my forehead as I watched my mother and Mogan who began to discuss how Mogan was going to move into my house and how well she was going to take care of Sapphire.

My father just shook his head and gestured to me to let them have their way.

It was not like there was anything I could do though. Mogan coming to stay with us means more trouble.

When we were little, I used to think Mogan was my mother and not my sister.

Aside from being too bossy, Mogan would hit me each time she was not having her way.

She was just this cruel sister that I did not almost like while growing up.

Not to lie though, she was still the best gift ever.

I loved my sister so much that I would lay my life down for her.

I took another look at Sapphire who was still sleeping and then leaned down. I cupped her cheek while I hesitated to kiss her lips before I finally leaned back.

“I’m coming,” I said to my family and then walked out of the room.
