THE MADAM.

DANIEL’S POV.

I had waited for a while before I knocked on the door. I knew she was on the call with someone and I didn’t want to disturb that, however, it was taking too long and I knew I had to enter already.

At first, I had turned the knob of the door but when I noticed the door was locked from inside, I shook my head and then knocked.

I was going to pay her back. Walking in on her while she walked out of the bathroom like before or while she was naked was going to be so fun but disappointment soon rushed me when the door was locked.

I heard her stop talking and then waited patiently for the door to open. The door opened finally and I stared at her face carefully and then teased her.

“Were you talking to your boyfriend?” My eyes rose as I watched her reaction after I had told her that I would be offended if she was talking to her boyfriend.

I had only said that, I didn’t know this woman’s expression was going to give her away like that.

“What boyfriend? I was talking to my friend,”
