“What do you mean by you don’t want to be accompanied by anyone?”

It was early Saturday morning and Daniel was preparing to go out when Sapphire hurried to his room.

Apart from the fact that she woke up very early which surprised the man, the request she had made was more surprising.

He would never ask her to not go out, but he would not agree to her leaving the home without the driver.

“It is not that serious, don’t strain the muscle around your face,” she said.

Sapphire knew that it was wrong to visit a man when she was married, especially a man she had a history with. So, Daniel finding that out would not work in her favor. He was going to misunderstand her and if he decided to dig into the matter, he might find out what was happening.

That was the last thing she wanted. Daniel finding out about the truth before telling him was what she did not want.

The previous night, Hilda had warned her fervently to not meet Aidan, but in her own defense, it was to seek closure.
