IT WAS THE NEXT DAY when Stephenie was surprised to see Mrs. Morgan inside her room. Perry’s mother requested a nurse to assist Stephenie in a wheelchair so that she may come along with her to see Perry.
Mrs. Morgan remained completely silent throughout. She never mentioned anything else about Perry, leaving Stephenie puzzled and worried. And, as much as she wanted to inquire about it, she ultimately preferred to remain silent. Stephenie detected a distinct aura from her, prompting her to abandon her attempt to initiate a conversation about Perry.
All of Stephenie's suspicions and thoughts were only confirmed when she saw Perry lying unconscious inside the intensive care unit room, aided by tubes and a life support machine.

When Hades and Thanatos finally made it to the front porch of Miguel's friend, it was already half past noon. It was just a modest apartment that was found right next to Apex's primary thoroughfare. The location seemed to be convenient given that it is only a few short blocks away from the city's commercial district.Thanatos rang the doorbell nearly three times before he decided to knock on the door. It appeared that the doorbell was broken. After a moment of short silence, he tried to make a few more knocks before a young boy opened the door to the apartment.“Charlie, why did you open the door!” A woman called out to the young boy. She ran hastily toward the door and was about to shut it when Thanatos put his foot in front of her to prevent her from doing so.

The supposed to be less than an hour drive from Apex to Larkspur became less than thirty as told by Thanatos. They ran into traffic, but Thanatos was quick enough to switch to a different route, which shortened their journey significantly compared to what it normally would have been.Upon their arrival, Hades and Thanatos were immediately obstructed by Jaycee, who was very anxious about how to begin reporting the scenario to her boss. Jaycee was telling Hades about the current situation that was taking place inside of his office.However, before Jaycee could even begin to utter a single word, Hades' mother, Reis, emerged from the office with such a level of rage that it was visible in her eyes. “You!” Hades couldn’t put up the exact words immediately until he was able to come back to his senses. He continued by asking, “Who are you, exactly?” Hades was beyond dismayed to see a different woman and not Rebecca; in fact, he became furious at the sight of the other woman.He returned to his office quickly, all nervousness coursing through his body, only to arrive with this nonsense. His expectations were dashed once more when he discovered that the woman was not Rebecca as he had assumed.Even the woman seemed a little taken aback when she saw Hades. THE FOLLOWING DAY, Thanatos greeted Hades first thing in the morning, having brought with him the news that he had been able to successfully schedule an appointment with Poseidon.“Why do you look so uncertain?” Hades told Thanatos while riding their way.“It sounded a bit strange. Poseidon is so easy to reach now compared to before. ” Thanatos gave his response. Hades was brought in by the hotel manager to where he could find Poseidon. Because Hades could sense the staff's anxiety while they were on the wheels, the entire one-hour ride was bland and deafeningly boring for him from start to finish. He didn't waste any time and went straight to the elevator, where he dialed Thanatos' numbers once more. “Hello, have you learned it yet?” Almost immediately, Hades questioned him.“The tenth floor has a solo unit with an extension of the penthouse.
