CONFUSION

On entering the house, Heron wandered his eyes around in search for Lala and decided to ask when he didn't see her anywhere after spending like an hour in that house.

"Is my wife here?"he asked with unsteady face that looked like he was ready to get scolded at.

"Lala! Didn't you bring her along? I mean she's supposed to be with you."Meri teased since Lala had lied to her that it was part of the surprise.

"She isn't here too? Where did she go to then? I hope she's not in some sort of trouble."he breathed.

He was already worried so he didn't want to get his in-laws worried as well.

Meanwhile Derrick held Lala in his arms as he teleported straight to a new place where he convinced Lala that it was where Heron would bring her family which later turned to be a lie after she waited for their arrival but in vain.
