"Stop right there you trash" the Luna's voice stopped me before I could reach Xander.
"How dare you disobey the presence of the Alpha and I buy running towards a man, are you out of your senses?" She yelled and I forced myself not to roll my eyes.
I could sense the tension in her voice though. Step away from him right now" she added and I gently stepped away.
"What's going on mother?" Maya's voice rang from the stairs as she climbed down, rubbing sleep off her eyes.
Her eyes snapped to Xander and she quickly ran to him, trying to embrace him. Xander held out his hands, stopping her from getting close to him.
"Are you here for me? My mother told me about the plans, I can't believe I'm going to become your Luna" she beamed.
Her eyes landed on me and instantly, her smiles faded replaced with a scowl. I Smirked at her and her eyes raised in surprise.
