Chapter 20: Taste

"Won't you speak?"

I kept staring into the distance as if I couldn’t hear him. We are currently riding his bicycle and on our way to their house. As usual, I still haven't spoken to him since I split up with Fern and went home with him. I also don’t know why he was at the gate and waiting for me. I can't get an excuse from him because I also don't want to ask and even say a single word. How did he know we would be sent home? Anyway, that's just common sense because our uniform is stained. But how did he find out right away and even get to say goodbye to his teacher and left the university as easy as hello?
