Chapter 65

Chapter 65: Birthday

This is the day. Olivia's birthday fell on Saturday. The party will start at six o'clock in the evening. It's three o'clock in the afternoon and I'm still looking out the window and wondering if I'm really going to her birthday party. If only I hadn’t maybe seen Patry dating her and if she hadn’t told me they were dating, I wouldn’t be thinking or considering anything right now. Something is stopping me from going there.

I stopped in thought when the door opened. "Don't you have a walk today? You'll just be locked up in this room all day?"

"Sera, I'm too lazy to act. I don't seem to be in the mood to move today." I said and lay down on the bed.

She sat next to me and took her laptop. "All right, at 9 o'clock tonight, I'll take you to a restaurant. Let's have dinner. I heard that Mom is gone again and she won't be able to come home. They're too busy with the company. I can't disturb them."

"Why did you suddenly think of treating me? What's wrong today?" I asked
