Cora’s POV

I was still at the hospital, waiting for Damon to leave the room. I was actually curious about who the patient was that Damon saw and why Damon didn't go inside the ward and just stood there at the door. Obviously, I was curious about him.

It was over fifteen minutes before Damon stood there, and finally, he left the room without going inside. I didn't follow Damon anymore, preferring to see who was in the hospital room.

After confirming that Damon had left, I ventured to see who the patient was in the room. When I was standing right at the door, my eyes widened to see who the patient lying on the bed was.

"So, Addison is really sick." I covered my mouth when I said that. "What's wrong with him?"

There were many medical devices around Addison. She could have been seriously ill. I thought all this time she was just pretending.
