Going Home

Addison's POV

It's been two weeks since my surgery, and Dr. Sullivan said that I would be discharged soon. It's only a matter of time before I'm able to go home after my physical and medical check-ups are completed.

For two weeks now, Hayden has been coming to visit me at the hospital. Sometimes, he comes at lunchtime or in the afternoon after coming home from work. Hayden often comes with fresh flowers or snacks, which he said were my favorite food. I was happy with his presence because it could more or less accompany my loneliness.

I vaguely remember Hayden, who was my senior in college. Shofia also told me that. That means my memory of him is really good.

I don't remember how close we were. However, I could see that we were close friends, as she kindly visited me at the hospital.
