ATHENA'S POV.

Tristan's lids fluttered open, and before I could look away, we locked eyes. Even if I still wanted to look away out of embarrassment, I couldn't.

I was captured by his eyes. His eyes were a striking blue, and had me stunned for about ten seconds straight.

Then he sat up, and noticed I was looking directly into his eyes. Then more embarrassment flushed my cheeks, and I immediately got rid of my mesmerized look by smiling. He raised a brow.

"I see you now. Black hair, blue eyes." I said, clearing my throat, and his jaw fell, before his lips widened into a broad smile.

"You do?" He asked, and I nodded.

"You look good." I added, and a little blush crept to my lips after saying that. I didn't remember ever complimenting someone.

He smiled, and tilted his head to look at me.

"That's nice coming from you." He replied, and ruffled my hair like I was a puppy. "Now you can feast your eyes on delicacies before eating them. Get ready. Let's see the elders." He said, and I got u
