ATHENA'S POV.

I placed my hand in Tristan's, as we walked away from the house. Hiding there had not been a pleasant experience, but I was glad Tristan and I had gotten memories from it.

Memories we could keep. Memories of being at a crime scene.

I almost laughed at my own ridiculous thoughts. What pleasant memories could have been formed at a crime scene? I was terrified just by waiting in that room.

There was its disorganized state, the things falling, with me having no recollection of touching them; the ripped up doll, the woman in the mirror that seemed more like I had imagined it the more I thought about it, and the blood on the bed…

Everything about the room screamed murder.

Tristan and I didn't walk much before getting to the beach, and there was the sunset in front of us.

“Wow! It's beautiful!” I exclaimed softly. I had never paid attention to the sunset when I had my eyes. Even if I had, those moments were all lost in the sea of young memories.
