ATHENA'S POV

I looked around in fear, and tried to move away as fast as I could, probably I could find a place to hide, but it felt as if each place I turned to, the monster was still coming from that angle.

“Shit! What do I do?” I muttered under my breath, feeling like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

Then I heard a loud cackle again from Naamah. She seemed to derive pleasure from my fear, and even as much as I tried to overcome the fear, and think it wasn't real, it was all futile.

“Help! Daniel, help me!” I called out to him, but Naamah's cackle only increased more, and it became even more difficult to think that Daniel would be able to help me this time.

Soon, I felt a cold chill around me, like a creature who I wasn't noticing it's presence was breathing cold breath on me.

“Please let me go.” I pleaded, beginning to lose hopes that I would make it out of here.
