Amelia's pov

On arriving home,I meet Lucie at the door. He says ‘hi’ which I fluidly ignore and walk past him into my room without even bothering to watch for the look on his face.

I've got plans and sitting at home isn't going to work for me. There's still the matter of who sent those guys and why. I've got to go see dad so we can discuss strategies.

I wonder if Ace will be there but I doubt the newly married lover boy will leave his wife(also what's her deal anyway?,like how did my brother manage to bag her).

We've got to take this matter to Osiris, but that's Ace's job.

I get changed and ready to leave the house when Lucie suddenly comes out of his room and asks ‘ what's wrong with you?, Where are you going? ’ once again without missing a beat I reply ‘ I'm a cheater, you don't need to know where I'm going’ he looked struck and I was pleased and started walking away, when I got to the door I turned and smiled sweetly before adding the last blow ‘ don't wait up, I won't be coming
