Chapter 5

She looked up and saw his grey eyes which were already focused on her. For the first time she saw his face so closely.

“he is indeed handsome” she thought.

She felt unusual attraction towards him, which she never felt before. She could feel the secretion of hormones inside her body, she was on fire. She smelt his cologne, which was different from ordinary fragrances.

On the other side steven joseph’s face was expressionless. He was good at hiding his feelings and expressions. But he was losing himself in front of that innocent face. He was getting lost in those dark eyes. He never got so much attract to a girl but now he was! Her red ears and blushing cheeks were making him crazy.

“no, I don’t remember anything” she replied blinking her eyes several times and then lowered them again.

She felt something around her waist, what was it? She couldn’t figure out for a second but it was a hand! Steven held her by the waist and said

“should I make you remember?”

once again her mind got blank and she was hardly bearing the warmness of his hand, her light white shirt was unable to stop it. Suddenly she took few steps back, losing the grip of his hand and she came into her senses.

“I'm sorry I ran into you again; I promise it will not happen from now onwards, forgive me for the last time” she said it all while looking at his shoes because she did not have the courage to tell him to his face.

“good for you!” he exclaimed. “don't run into me again or I will not spare you another time” he said with a cold voice.

Without seeing she turned around and ran. After coming out of the room she recovered her consciousness and breath heavily.

“another bad day” she told herself, and entered the elevator.

“what took you so long? We were waiting, I was going to tell professor park” said Clara angrily.

“I'm sorry I forgot the way back” she apologised.

“okay forget it, you know what Sabrina got collided with CEO as he came and spilled the drink on his branded shirt! And to everyone’s surprise he was so angry but he didn’t say a word and went back” told Clara excitedly.

“how do you know he was angry?” asked Stella.

“oh, come on his face was filled with rage and his eyes were telling that he wanted to kill Sabrina, I guess he don’t like girls. Sabrina is most pretty girl in our university, she even won the title of ‘most beautiful’ in our university last year, how come he don’t like her at all and even it was just a mistake” explained Clara.

Stella didn’t say a word in return, because her mind was rewinding the incident just happened with her.

Days were passing slowly; she was going well with her studies. She started to forget him. She got busy with her daily routine. Her life was going smoothly, her mother was happy with her because her second semester also went well. And they both spend their most time talking about the wonderful future they were going to have. Stellas life was complete, she had friends, a caring mother and a great future. Until one day her mother made her realize that she should look for a boyfriend as she was turning 23 this year, and she have to marry someday. So, it's better to have understanding first. But stella was not happy with the suggestion, every time she starts to think, only Steven Joseph came to her mind. She thought that she’ll need more time to forget him but every time her mother mentions about marriage, her mind rewinds all those memories. She wanted to forget him but she was not succeeding.

Her life took a turn and changed its direction when a new neighbour came to live in her neighbourhood. Her life changed its goal and lead her in to a new but correct direction, which stella never expected it to be.

“stella new neighbours have arrived just next to our house at the left! You should greet them” said stella's mother.

“come on mom, I'm not a kid and I have so much to do, I'll greet them later” replied stella.

Next day at the university she met a new class fellow in her class, who got shifted from London. She was a Muslim, stella get to know from her hijab which she used to wore 24 hours every time she sees her. She was very friendly and easy to talk with. There were several Muslim students in her university but she was the first in her class. She never had any grudges with Muslims as she never payed attention to her religion. Stella was a Christian but she hardly visited churches with her mother because she had a perspective that when you are in great trouble or in need then you need to ask for god. Except that you don’t need to pray regularly as god created us for living our own certain lives.

Stellas view never got to change as nobody ever talked about religion to her. And she never liked this topic so her friends who were very religious avoided this conversation. But her mindset had to change as somebody was sent to do it and her life was going to change of which she never expected or better to say she never wanted to.
