The third ingredient: Earth from the volcano of life.
In the middle of the Caspian Sea,
Lies a volcano standing free, Sitting high above its bay,Watching as the eagles play. Mighty volcano, give us earth, Boiling magma which you birth. It sees the sky high up above,And boils the earth, a mighty stove. But then one day, the lava dried, What happened? This fine volcano died. Former magma turned to stone, Only earth now fills this cone. Why then call it the volcano of life? When it stands there held by the hand of death’s knife? We call it that name because we hope it will wake,To calm the cold sea and for old nature’s sakeBut watch out as the small sea troll, Lurks around this big volcano. It looks around for who it’ll bite,Filled with nothing but greed, hatred and spite.“Hey Joana, wake up,” Derick nudged her lightly. She had been sleeping for a long time, they had until a few hours before the sun came out and they hadn’t reached the Caspian Sea yet. Derick then went to her room to see if she could wake now so they would get going. Joana was enjoying her sleep and began mumbling something in her state of unconsciousness, while Derick was trying to wake her up.“Let me sleep!” She cried, unaware of what the time was. What was she doing all day? Didn’t she go to sleep on time? Derick wondered. Well, he had tried his best, she was the one complaining that she didn’t want to waste any more time with the other ingredients, and here she was sleeping late when she was supposed to be regathering her strength.“Ok fine, I’ll leave you alone. Suit yourself, sleepy head.”He began walking out of the room and stopped in his tracks when Joana continued mumbling somethin
“The rest of you creatures are so selfish; you don’t even realize it when your actions hurt others,” the troll said. The silver was already making Joana weak, she looked at Derick who lay right beside her, the same thing was happening to him too.“I don’t understand, why do you do this? This volcano doesn’t belong to you!” Joana yelled as much as the silver binding her could allow.“Says who? I’ve been the one looking after this volcano for centuries, making sure it doesn’t erupt, and if it weren’t for me, you creatures wouldn’t even have any earth to be looking for in the first place!”Joana looked up at the troll, she tried to find anything that would depict her belonging to the sea, but she couldn’t find any. Derick was the next one to speak, asking the troll the question she also had in mind.“You’re a sea troll, why then do you f

They stayed with Katariina for a little while before saying their goodbyes and heading for Pixieland. Joana, although happy, still found it hard to believe that her quest would be over soon. Finding these ingredients were no easy feat but she never would have done it without the help of the coven, as Dana had told her that Marylin took a much longer time to find them on her own, even though she was a powerful vampire. She thought of them as they neared Pixieland, very soon this would all be over; she would be back home with grandma Jen and would be getting ready to wed at the altar with Andrew, and she wouldn’t have to worry about becoming a vampire again on her wedding day. She would miss her friends, Dana, Derick, Edmund and Hillary very much, she wished that there was a way not to cut off from them forever but there was nothing she could do. She had to choose which one of the lives she would live as she couldn’t live both; and she chose her human life because she knew
Happy birthday to you,Happy birthday to you,Happy birthday Joana,Happy birthday to you.Joana smiled in her sleep while hearing the birthday song being sang for her, she thought it would be Andrew, Sandra or grandma Jen who had come to sing her a birthday song, but she opened her eyes and saw Dana, Derick, Edmund and Hillary standing at the foot of her bed, each holding a present. It was early in the morning, two days after she and Derick had returned from the enchanted forest. After months of searching, she had all the ingredients complete, the last of which was flowing through her veins. Some part of her felt reluctant to go to the supreme council to offer the sacrifice right away. She decided to go on a three-day break and do nothing but rest. After all, she deserved a big break after all the trouble she had been through the past few months. It had been so hard to keep track of time and dates in her new life in the castle, she never even

It is useless to other vampires who possess the same blood in their veins, but is life to the humans. For centuries, the vampire community has succeeded in keeping this precious gift a secret to the humans, else they try to start hunting vampires for their blood. It had been a week now, and it took a while for Joana to summon the courage to take the ingredients and offer the sacrifice unto the council, even though she had all she needed to do it. She didn’t know why, but part of her just wanted to wait a while first. After all, there was no need to rush things and she would soon be home. She decided she would go there tomorrow. She wondered how grandma Jen and Andrew would be doing by now. It had been so long since she’d seen them, a year in fact. And now more than ever, she was curious to see how they were.A knock on her door startled her and brought her into reality.“Come in,” she said.“It was Derick.”“Hello Joana,” he said.“Hi Derick, why aren’t you asleep?”“Because I wanted us to talk in private.”Here he goes again.“I know you love me Joana, and I do too, and that&rs
Joana went into the kitchen and chugged down a whole gallon of vamscren. It was daylight, and she needed to go somewhere, anywhere in fact that wouldn’t remind her of the amazing times she spent with Derick. She needed a form of assurance that she was making the right decision. She needed to find something that would remind her of the times she spent with Andrew, and she knew just where to go. She left the castle and flew out through the gates in the direction of her neighborhood where she lived as a human. She knew that Dana had warned her not to do this until she became human, but she decided to risk it just this once. All she needed was a little convincing that she wouldn’t regret this decision she was about to make for the rest of her life, like Derick had said. Two things added to her doubts; the first of which was when the supreme council warned her that she was making the same mistake Marylin did in her past life, the second was when the evergreen rive
