29: Pending doom
Ethan got up with goosebumps, feeling disturbed, scared and insecure. It was nightmare who kicked him out of bed where he barely slept.
He performed his morning routine ever so slowly, he would zone out often but that wasn't new to him.
He thought a lot about his future encounter with Flash. He knew damn well Flash was not to be trusted.
The slight knock on the door made him jump. He rubbed his hands on his face under his glasses as he got up shakily.
"Who is it?" He asked when he was three feet away from the door.
"Baron Sir." The muffled voice of the butler came from the other side with relief. Ethan carefully pull the door opened in a crack.
"Breakfast is ready sir. Everyone is waiting for you." Baron explained.
"I'm n-not hungry. Thanks." Ethan said as he shut the door quickly, taking in loud breaths. Everyone. Everyone. Including the cold alpha. <
