Ch. 58 Augustus
Augustus’ P.O.V.
Ares disappeared before us, giving me the alone time I needed with Nova. I’ll need to apologize to him for yelling. The worry just ate at me and I snapped. I need to get better. I couldn’t let Nova go. My heart had shattered thinking she was dying. When Ares said he couldn’t see her future anymore, I was so sure she had died on me. I can’t let her go. I have to keep her safe. I have to have her in my life.
“Nova, I know I am a shi.t friend. I know I explode on you a lot. I know that you think all I want is sex from a girl, but can you forget all that for a second and just listen to what I have to say?” I need her to hear me this time.

Jesse's P.O.V. I saw Andy making her way to Ares across the field. The wind carried her hair as if the breeze was made just to make her look better. Ares' P.O.V. I have decided, since Andy started enacting her plan today, that I would do the same. I set things up for Damon throughout the day to make his life hell.
