Chapter 13: Still The Kindest

Rodleigh's POV:

It's been a week since I got out of the hospital. I'm so happy right now, honestly.

I called Cianna yesterday, we've talked about our meeting today.

I made reservations at the most beautiful and famous restaurant just near my office. I also arrived earlier for our date, I don’t know if she will consider this as a date, but for me it is.

"Good evening!"

I quickly stood up to greet Cianna. She just arrives and she's smiling at me. My heart also seemed to leap with joy, seeing her smile genuinely, it's heart whelming. I feel like she is slowly opening her heart to me—again.
