Chapter 47: Past and Present

Lessandra's POV:

I woke up because of the light of the lights around me. When I opened my eyes the white ceiling and white surroundings of the room were exposed to me.

When I'm about to lift my hand to get up, I stopped when I realized where I was. I was in the hospital. Suddenly, I remember what happened between me and my twin sister, Lessanna.

"Sweetheart!" anxious Ashton calls to me when he sees me awake. He quickly approached me to check if I was still in pain.

"Are you okay? Aren't you feeling anything else? Do you feel good now?" he asked worriedly. I didn't answer his questions, instead I just look at him. I stared at him as if he's the greatest gift that I've ever received from God. And if I lose him I don’t know if I can handle it. He was like a dreams that was very difficult to give up.
