Oh The Joy

It's now seven o'clock, and Blaze, Jace, and I have finally made it home to Blaze's house. We had stopped at Pizza Hut and grabbed several pizzas. Since we were late getting home and that's something we can all eat, including all of the toddlers. I glanced around and saw that Lyra and Vega were sitting in the Livingroom.

"How are things going with Cora and Adelaide?" I asked Vega, who had noticed that I had walked over.

"The girls are doing great. Lyra brought them home, and I stayed with Kaysen to help her finish packing. Kaysen hasn't been feeling well; she checked on Cora and went to bed. She and her mother had quite the falling out. Lyra felt it was best to go ahead and bring Cora here," Vega said.

"I thought if you both went instead of me, things would go smoothly, but I guess I was wrong. I guess now you both see why I needed to get Kaysen and Cora out of there," I said as I turned to walk towards the guest room to check on Kaysen.
