Aurora

I stood there, in the hallway, all alone and rethinking the last fifteen minutes over and over again in my head. My heart hurt at the intensity of his words, and the truth behind them too. I was truly alone and miserable but what got to me was his insinuation that I was a ‘whore’, I made him believe that and now I had to live that lie, no matter what. I gave myself another five minutes to wallow before I straightened my back and walked towards the private elevator for Calloway Construction’s. When I looked at myself in the mirror attached to the elevator, I gasped.
