I tried to wrap my mind around what was happening but I couldn't do it. I knew this wasn't a dream. I had only succeeded in escaping reality for a few hours before slipping back into it. I felt like my head was empty, I wasn't thinking straight anymore. My eyes were bleary– if Audrey would just walk into the house and tell me all of these was a nightmare.
