Two months ago, if anyone had told me I would be dead worried about Lucas, that I'll drive all the way to the club to keep an eye on him? I'd probably stick my tongue out and eyed the person maliciously. We were world aparts, we seemed like parallel lines that'll never meet.

At first, when his lips pressed against mine, I stiffened. He slipped his hands around my waist and held me firmly. His tongue worked its way into my mouth. I didn't reciprocate nor did I fight. I just stood melting slowly while guarding myself. I reminded myself this was about him- I was a means to an end.

He slowly pulled away from me. I looked away, unsure why I did that. I struggled to keep my emotions in check, if he saw how vulnerable I was, he'd simply intensify his already terrifying behavior towards me.
