CHAPTER 1. PLAY

Rose wakes up after hearing a rooster crowing; she always wakes up early, whether in a good mood or not, and she always hopes for a nice morning, even though she knows that sometimes there are times when she has to curse and also curse at her life. The rich man's son has everything but turns out to be unlucky in love. He was about to give up, but thinking about the many things he had to consider turned out to be difficult. She had to live pretending, and it was uncomfortable.

“Good morning, Dias,” she smiled at her husband, even though she knew he was only responding with a casual sigh.

“Morning,” he replied. Rose was stuck for a moment; usually, Dias answered, even if it was just a short answer like "yes" or "no." Rarely would the man talk to her. After two years of marriage, they only talk when necessary or there is a family event, whether it is Rose or Dias. And Dias never spoke first, so Rose knew how the man's character was. Although Dias did not see and love him, she once loved and still loves that man. Even now, it feels like Rose wants to cry and shout that Dias is her husband. But what power? There was nothing she could do; she had to behave like the wife of a CEO, who was indeed graceful and obedient at every step of her life.

“Rose,” Dias called. Rose did not immediately answer; she stopped making sandwiches and turned her body to face Dias. just right, in the face of the man.

“What's wrong, Dias?” she asked with a smile that he always spread at all times even though he was never appreciated.

Dias hesitated for a moment, but finally he spoke, "Later on the eve of my employee's birthday celebration, he is not one of the people known to many people, but he is my father's colleague and actually a former manager in papa's company, about the same age as papa, and is holding his 35-year wedding anniversary celebration. I was invited, so I want to invite you.” Dias turned away; he was not good with words; even so far, only his ex-fiancée always took the initiative first.

Rose smiled; she admired Dias, who had been brave enough for a while. Dias is shy and prestigious, but she puts all that aside for the show, especially when it comes to her family. The man is easy to use. Hence, Rose wanted to be with him, even though she knew there had never been a name in Dias's heart.

“Okay, so Dias actually wants to take me away, right?" So?”  Rose asked with one eyebrow raised, waiting for Dias's answer.

Dias nodded and said, "Yes, we will go together later.”

“Well, what time?” asked Rose again.

“At seven o'clock in the evening, I will be home before five o'clock, and you prepare later.”

“What clothes should I wear?" "Ah, what dress do I mean?” asked Rose again.

Dias looked at Rose; maybe she thought that Rose was just looking for attention, or how, somewhere, obviously, Dias never worried about what clothes Rose was going to wear because the woman knew that she was the CEO's wife, and everyone knew how she behaved. Then, why should he ask Dias? Is it just looking for attention, but Dias doesn't bother either?

“Seriously, I don't know, what clothes am I going to wear?” asked Rose once more, repeating her question like a statement.

“Ah, wear anything; you are suitable to wear any clothes, even more than is appropriate." "And you have plenty of good clothes; wear anything; the important thing is to be polite,” he said again.

“How about wearing a T-shirt?" "Casual, is it okay?” asked Rose, looking at Dias, who was confused, looking at him, frowning, and shaking his head.

“Yes, it's not like that; you wear a dress; don't wear a shirt,” Dias interrupted.

“Why?  "Are you embarrassed?”

“How embarrassed?  There is nothing to do, but if you want to wear a t-shirt, it's up to you, but remember... "Don't whine at home if you get the wrong costume.” Obviously, Dias then went away.

When Dias left, Rose sneered. She thought Dias had begun to show some sincerity, although she had to pretend, but it was still the same. Dias couldn't even pretend to like her. But one thing Rose likes is that Dias doesn't try to like her with all pretence, she just doesn't like Rose yet. That's what Rose has believed all along, even though in fact her heart has begun to wear out waiting for Dias. She didn't even dare to expect much more for now.

“You know, Miss Rose is doing the cooking alone here?" "Here anti helps,” said housekeepers Rose and Dias. Yes, they are married, entering their third year, and have been separated from Rose's parents for more than two years and a half. They also have a housekeeper because Rose also works, although she is not too busy.

“It's okay, Auntie; it's getting ready anyway.” Rose smiled heartily at the housekeeper.

“Sorry, miss. Auntie had something to do with the neighbours for a while.” The aunt lowered her head uncomfortably, even though she was older than Rose, who was still in her 30s, but still, Rose was her master. Although never angry, though.

“It's okay, you know, Auntie, take it easy.” Rose also prepared to eat her breakfast, and before long, she finished eating, and she said goodbye because there was another job waiting.

When she walked into their room, Rose saw that Dias was finished and very neat, wearing a blue plaid shirt and finally putting on his suit.

“Going to the office?” asked Rose.

Dias, who was aware that Rose was talking to him, turned his body and faced Rose; he nodded. Confused, actually. Rose already knew that she was going to the office, but why even ask, in her mind?

“yes, why?”  Rose shook his head at Dias's question. Then, the man picked up his briefcase and passed. Leaving Rose with all her bitter smiles

It's not that Rose wants to be noticed, but she just wants to show that even if Dias doesn't love her, she can still be a good wife, although the whole family is wondering why she hasn't been pregnant until now and how to get pregnant. Just touched him never, just kissed them never, let alone touched intimately. It's just that their housekeeper never knows, although every so often the aunt asks Rose why Dias is always flat, and Rose can always cover it up.

Since Dias was gone, Rose prepared; she wanted to go to her boutique and go back for a walk to the bookstore. Five years into their marriage, Rose has grown fed up with it, and Dias's mother has also begun to show dislike for her grandchildren. But is it Rose's fault if she actually wants to rebel? Their marriage lasted five years, and it was actually very difficult to put back together. I don't know when. Rose wanted to stop. He wanted to beg for it to stop, either for himself or Dias. He still hoped that Dias would retaliate against him, even though he knew there was no chance. Not only that, but he always hoped, and the result was nil. Two years, Rose persevered and tried to understand; the third year, everything was clear in her eyes, and she began to be provoked frequently; the fourth year, Dias's nature changed, and she also began to change; they lived under pretence, were messy, were incompatible, unhappy, uncomfortable, dirty, and sick. Their relationship is unhealthy, and Rose wants to end it. But he didn't know how. If she asked for a divorce, Dias's mother would be sad, even though her father-in-law actually didn't like her very much from the beginning, although he liked Flowers as a woman. And, once her mother, who was kind to Rose, began to change, even though it was her son who made Rose lonely and felt life was full of bitterness,
