Prologue

Seren: Hello? Is this thing on? Oh it is. Anyways, hi! My name is Seren, and with me right now is Achilles, you'll find out who he is later. I'm actually here to tell you a story, mind you, this isn't some fairytale that ends in a happily ever after crap -

Achilles: *in the background* You're spoiling them.

Seren: What? No, I'm not -

Achilles: *still in the background* Just get on with the story will you? I don't have all day, it's movie night later.

Seren: ... can I come?

Achilles: *background* Only if you promise not to talk during the movie and spoil everybody.

Seren: Deal! Okay, so, on to the story!

Do you believe in a Parallel Universe? Do you believe that multiple realities exist? If you don't, then let me tell you, there are multiple realities, and since we exist in the first reality, everything we have in our world exist in other worlds, like technology, love, wars, pizza, everything. However, there are things in their world that doesn't exist in ours.

Like magic, for example, bummer, I know. Like, why do we have to be born in this specific reality when we can experience magic in some other ones? But believe me, living in a magical world isn't always as lovely as we all think it would be. There are beings who are known to be able to go across these realities, I'm actually one of them. You can be too, if you just stay with me until the end and listen very, very carefully.

In the year 3012, in the reality of Earth 61235, more commonly called as the Majikku Reality, or simply the Magical World, it was rumored that the Dark-Cored wizards have started attacking again. There has been a century of peace in the realm people have become lenient and relaxed. However, eveeything changed when Light-Cored Wizards and Witches started dying.

To mundanes, it just seemed like a serial killer is on the loose, but for the magical police, it's a sign of an impending war. There is no way of distinguishing Dark-Cored Wizards from Light-Cored ones however, since the cores are determined only by an in-depth exam that can only be done in a secured environment that lasts for at least half-an hour.

Magical cores are the strongs of magic that settles at the very bottom of a Wizard's heart, it's color determines whether the Wizard would be good or bad. The cores direct a Wizard's way of thinking, and so far, no Dark-Cored Wizard have ever beem good and vice versa.

The Golden Squad of the Light Police was given the task to find a way to distinguish magical cores to determine the Dark-Cored wizards that have infiltrated the City of Light. They somehow met Achilles Perseus Franco, yes, the guy who's with me right now, he's a highschool student  with a unique ability of being able to see magical cores and wield magic even though he's only  a mundane.

With his help, the Golden Squad would try to save their city and hopefully prevent a war, before it's too late.

"You know, I've been wondering, do you actually think you're the good guys? Like, 'oh, we're the Light, we're the good guys, we're good people,'. That's total bull, you force people into that cold wretched place. Do you know what it's like over there? Endless winter, the sun never shines, children learn how to adapt to the cold and the cruelty of our world when they weren't actually supposed to," she paused to take a breath. Tears were threatening to stream down her face as she looked at the people in front of her.

"Our side only did what was right, the Dark was revolting against us, they were causing mass destruction everywhere," one of them said.

"Why exactly were they doing that?" She asked. "Prejudice, discrimination, the Dark is not evil, it's regarded as evil because you guys labeled it that way. You want peace? It can't be achieved unless the Light steps down. Only, when the light falls, will all the wars will be over," she added and grabbed one of them, smirked at their dumbfounded faces before disappearing into thin air.
