This Friendship

The brief walk to the resort gardens and fields, the concept for the day, was good for his mental health. He tried not to think of Jade as he walked, instead wondering the strategy to use for the next season's marketing. He had noticed before that the boxers he currently wore left marks on the waist after it was removed, and thought of an idea to propose to prevent it from having the same problem in their products the next season. 

Ricky didn't know whether to classify it as luck, but when he got to his destination, they were already through with the shoot and Jade was walking directly towards him, her hair dyed red and her face baked with makeup. He gazed at her as they drew nearer to each other, grateful that his sunshades gave him the luxury of emotionlessness. 

'Ricky.' He had missed her voice, particularly when it called his name.

'Jade.' He looked around for the dragon, wondering where she had gone. 

'I was just on my way to your suite.'<
