Chapter 64: From afar

Chad and Aaron watched as the woman they found as the mother of the dead lady, moved close to the body bag which contained nothing but the head they found. Aaron had seen a lot of violent murders but this was a first for him; he had never seen a body without a head before. He had questioned the sense of letting her see the head, but Chadwick had insisted that it couldn't be avoided as it was part of the procedure.
