Mark watched as Dulce said goodbye to Simon, standing in one corner, trying to not look as they shared a kiss.
"I can't wait for you to come home." She said to him, blinking back tears in an effort not to cry a river over the recovering man.
"And I will, trust me and go home to rest," Simon said before turning to Philip, who had his hands folded as he watched them, "Take care of your sister for me, make sure you protect her before I get out of this place." Philip nodded.
"You don't have to tell me." Philip said in reply to Simon's request. Simon held a hand out and Philip moved closer to take it in his, giving his brother-in-law a tight hand shake.
"I..." Dulce began, staring at Simon and he lifted his face to look at her expectantly.
"You what?" He asked when she stopped speaking, giving her a questioning look as he waited for her.
