Chapter 39: Get Him Jealous

Nadia’s POV

I took Veer’s side to

make Sidd even more jealous. But truth be told, I am slowly giving up on Sidd.

The anger I feel for him now is taking over the feelings I once had for him. I

led Veer to one of the rooms to check his punched face. I sat him down on a

stand while I inspected the bruises. His temple had blood trailing down to his

cheek and his lower lip was broken. He simply stared at me, not uttering a

word. His charming eyes, piercing around my face, made me shiver. I went to get

a heating pad. I returned and met him in the position I left him. He looked at

me as I walked down to him. He seems to enjoy the fact that I’m furious with

Sidd. Could he be taking advantage? If he is, then we are both taking advantage

of each other because I am using him to make Sidd jealous and whatever his reason

is, it shouldn’t bother me. I crouched in his front, pressing the pad on his

broken lip.
