They were mostly silent through the rest of dishes, and Thalia couldn't manage to fight back the feeling growing in her. She wanted to tell this woman. She wanted to divulge every horrible moment of her life and cry against her. She hated it. Hated herself for how quickly it took hold of her. She had to do something. She took hold of one of the plates in the strainer and flung it against the wall before taking off, not even sparing a glance back at Rehida.

She was sure someone, if not the woman herself would storm after her, but no one did. She spotted a cracked door and carelessly threw herself inside, slamming it and locking it behind her.
