Chapter 21: Revelations and Bonds

The next morning, the events of the previous day still weighed heavily on my mind. As I made my way through the town, the usual quaint charm of Silverwood Falls felt overshadowed by an undercurrent of tension and fear. The knowledge that Gabriel Blackwood was still out there, plotting his next move, was a constant, nagging presence in the back of my mind.

I arrived at my home, a small cottage on the outskirts of town, nestled among the trees. The tranquility of the surroundings was a stark contrast to the turmoil I felt inside. As I walked up to my front door, I noticed a familiar figure waiting on my porch.
