After his brief outburst, Duncan and his two trusted subordinates let the maids handle Selene and the mess he made while they went back to the main mansion, straight to his father’s office.

Anger remained swelling up inside of him, all the while glaring into the other house just beyond the hedge maze. He could not calm himself, sensing that there was something wrong.

“We caught the culprit, and she was no alpha. She was a freaking omega. Which means she couldn’t turn her. So how does that explain her healing herself?”

He continued biting his nails, heart racing from all the emotions rushing through him.

Now that they captured the reason for the problems they were facing, he could not stop thinking about how to deal with it.
