Chapter 1

Brian Pradipta's life was perfect. Many men were jealous of his life. At the age of 35, he was already a very successful CEO.

He lives happily with the woman he loves, Azzura Wijaya. Azzura Wijaya was the daughter of Antony Wijaya, the biggest investor in his company. The reason they got married was not that, but because they loved each other.

From that marriage was born a beautiful daughter named Kyra Wijaya Pradipta. Bearing the big names of two families, Kyra's life is a dream for many girls of her age. Even during her eleventh birthday celebration, Brian presented his daughter with a helicopter. Kyra transformed into a socialite at a young age.

Brian was so grateful for his perfect life that a request from Azzura shook his self-esteem.

"Honey... I want you to get married again." Like being struck by lightning, what Azzura said that night sounded like a joke to him. After their hot night, even the mixed feelings of tiredness and sweat haven't completely disappeared. Azzura uttered a sentence that Brian had never expected before. Or maybe Brian never thought about it at all.

"What do you mean, Zura?" Brian was an ordinary guy who would probably be greedy for love, but not once did he have such thoughts.

No matter how much money he had, no matter how handsome he was, he had no intention of looking at other women. Why be ambiguous if what he wants he has already gotten from Azzura.

"I want you to get married again." Brian looked at his wife, and he was sure Azzura wasn't joking. Brian knows his wife's attitude very well, and Azzura may never have been this serious.

"Yes. But, for what reason, Zura?" Brian was furious. He even clenched his fists. He especially saw Zura, who looks so relaxed when he says it.

"There's no reason. I want you to get married again."

"Are you tired of me and don't love me anymore, Zura?" Only this time did he feel insecure in front of his wife. Brian shuffled slightly away from Azzura.

Feeling her husband slightly shy away, Zura tightened his embrace. He buried his face in Brian's chest. "How could I be bored with you, Honey. And don't doubt my love for you. I love you so much that I can't seem to be away from you."

Brian just smirked. Does he believe what Zura said? How can a wife who loves her husband ask her husband to get married again?

Brian shook his head. "No, Zura! I don't want to have another wife except you!" Brian insisted. He may not be the perfect husband, but he's not a scumbag who would hurt his wife's heart.

Brian turned his face away from Azzura. He felt angry at the unreasonable request. What was the underlying reason for Zura asking that?

"Honey," said Zura.

Brian remained unmoved. He didn't want to hear that again. For him, there will be no other love than Azzura.

"Honey ... listen to me first," she called affectionately.

'Argh... damn it.' Brian will not be able to survive if his wife has spoken spoiled like this. But this time, he would desperately resist his wife's temptation.

Feeling unresponsive, Zura immediately grabbed her husband's chin so she could see his face. She really can't be angry with Brian. After all, Brian is her soul mate and half of her life.

Now their eyes stare at each other. Passion and love are visible in it. It will never go out even if it is turned on for life. But why? That question is now lodged in Brian's heart.

"Okay! I'll listen to you." In the end, the man gave up. The one thing he could at least do was silence his wife.

"Don't you love me?" Azzura's gaze was so sharp it pierced into the deepest cavity of his heart. It was making Brian completely unable to move.

"I love you so bad, honey." Brian's voice began to soften, though his heart had been pounding before. Brian smiled, stroking his wife's hair gently.

"Marry again, Honey. As proof of your love for me."

"CRAZY!" This was the first time Brian cursed his wife after twelve years of marriage. "What's on your mind Azzura Wijaya...?" Brian emphasized his voice when he said his wife's name. The anger that had just evaporated was now back into an increasingly heavy moan.

"I just want you to prove your love for me."

"But not with your ridiculous request. You'd better ask me to buy you a private jet than ask me to get married again!"

"No, honey! I wouldn't ask for anything else."
