Chapter Fifty Nine

I woke up feeling tired from the previous night but happy. I turned over and looked at Nessa, who was still sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help but smile, and I gently kissed her on the forehead.

I slipped out of bed, careful not to wake her, and went to take a shower. I had a day full of fun and romantic activities planned, and I was determined to make it a Valentine's Day she would never forget. After all, Paris was the city of love, and I wanted to make sure she felt special and loved.

“Vito.” Nessa’s soft voice echoed through the quiet room.

“I’m in the shower,” I said loud enough for her to hear even with the sound of the splashing water.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?” I heard footsteps approaching the bathroom.

“You were sleeping like a baby. I didn’t want to disturb you.” I chuckled and rinsed off the last of the soap lather from my body.

“What are we doing today?” She asked, taking off her bathrobe and joining me in the shower.
