Chapter Fifty Eight

I woke up early the next day. I was feeling a little bit exhausted but I tried my best to get up from the bed. I completed my packing and neatly arranged my suitcases by the bedside.

As I was about to go into the shower, I heard a gentle knock on my door. I had already wrapped myself up in my towel. I went to the door and opened it.

“I just wanted to check if you were awake,” Vito said as he entered the room.

“Well, I’m up,” I said, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

“You were excited yesterday but now gloomy on the day of the trip.” He latched his hands over mine. “What’s wrong?” He asked.

“Nothing, I’m just exhausted from yesterday,” I said and walked in the direction of the bathroom.

“Sorry babe. Are you done packing? So they can take your luggage to the car?”

“Sure,” I affirmed before entering the bathroom.

I heard the sound of the rolling boxes. As soon as I heard the door close, I took off my towel and got into the shower.
