Chapter Fiften

After eating, Nessa and I walked back to the car and I handed the takeout I had got to the driver.

“Drive us home.” I instructed the driver and we both walked into the car.

A few seconds later, I turned back to see Nessa leaning back on the black leather seat fast asleep. It had been a very long day, I couldn’t blame her for being so exhausted.

We finally got home and I didn’t want to disturb her sleep so I had to carry her upstairs to her room without waking her up. She was a deep sleeper because every other normal person would have woken up.

With a gentle touch, I helped her remove her shoes and tucked her into her bed. I watched her as she slept peacefully and thought of all the things I could do to her. But I brushed off my thoughts. I assured my best friend I wasn’t going to get involved with someone working for me. She was basically my employee.
