"For the last time, don't ruffle my hair again!!" I yelled at Alex who had found an unrequited excitement in playing with my hair.

At the rate he was going, my agitation was increasing by the seconds. My throat was aching from having to yell constantly at him for the last few ten minutes.

"Why can't I play with your hair." He pouted looking smug.

"Why would you play with my hair? Is it a plaything?" I retorted. "Besides, shouldn't you be going home? It's closing time already."

"I can say the same thing for you. We go to to the same school, and obviously have the same closing hours, aren't you supposed to be home already?"

I stared at him with a smug expression on my face. If anyone had told me I shared trigonometry with this guy, I would have quitted it a long time ago.

I turned in exasperation looking for Ruby after unsuccessfully swatting his hands off my hair for the third time that day.

"Seriously, Alex, why are you here?" I asked in frustration.
