He got up from the sofa and stared at her, lifting her head with the tip of his finger to look at her face. He saw the tears in her eyes and it broke his heart. Jason walked towards Julia and stood next to her. He pulled her into his arms, and she collapsed on his chest, breaking down in tears. Jason rubbed her back gently trying to calm her down, first before asking her what the problem was. Jason led Julia to the sofa. They both sat down, and he made her rest on him. After a while, Julia was calm and was resting her head on Jason's lap as he ran his fingers gently through her thick wavy hair. The night to Sunday morning felt like forever for both of them as they pretended to be sleeping. She dragged her out of bed and took her shower before going out of the bedroom to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Julia's eyes were going around the room, trying to understand where she was and why. She pushed herself to sit up on the bed. Jason ended the call and turned to look at Julia, who had finally managed to fall asleep. He sat on the sofa watching her. Back in Mr Dickson's apartment, he was returning to the living room after getting himself a glass of wine when his phone rang. He quickly answered the call. "Yes," he said. "Sir, I couldn't get to Ms Harrison, but she is safe now," reported the man. "Who saved her?" Mr Dickson asked. "She lives with some two gentlemen, they came to her rescue," the man reported. "Okay, go back to our initial plan," Mr Dickson said and ended the call, assuming the rescuers included her husband and probably her husband's relative.
