Chapter 11

Abigail's p.o.v;

When I came back home, I saw dad sitting in a chair looking at some papers in his hands.

When I tried to go upstairs, dad called out my name and asked, "How's your school today?"

"all good, dad."

he gave a nod while looking at the papers in his hands. looks like he's kinda busy.

I went up to my bedroom and started to undress.

When I was done, I changed into some black leggings, a shirt and a hoodie and went downstairs. I noticed that I hadn't had lunch at school so I decided to make myself some lunch. Once I finished cooking, I set it down and looked at the table next to the stairs. There was a piece of paper on top of it. I picked it up. It was a drawing of a dog, with some words underneath.

"your mother loved dogs".

I smiled and placed the paper on the table again. I went back into the kitchen to continue cooking. After I put everything into two plates, I placed one of them on the table for dad and took my other plate with me. I sat down on the couch and turned
