Chapter 41

Abigail's p.o.v;

I'm sitting on my bed with my knees tucked up to my chest and a blanket pulled around me for comfort, I don't feel like going out tonight or tomorrow, but maybe when I get back from school I'll have some plans for the next few weeks. My parents are off at a work trip so we' re home alone tonight for dinner. Mom said she'd be back before midnight and Dad will be home after lunch tomorrow as well, he won't be gone until later that evening.

"Hey honey." My mom enters my room with a tray in her hand, "Your father asked me to bring this over. He says to give it to you when you wake up." She sets the tray down on my desk next to the phone on my nightstand. The tray is filled with food, two plates of spaghetti, meatballs, corn on the cob, and a bowl of salad.

My stomach growls audibly making mom chuckle. I roll my eyes and take a bite of my burger, not bothering to thank her. Mom walks into my bathroom, shutting the door behind her. I set my meal aside and look at my homewo
