“Xara are you okay?" Kai joined her in the garden startling her.

“I am okay." Her smile not reaching her eyes. He knew she wasn't okay.

“Hey," He took her hands into his. She looked into his eyes and carefully pulled her hands from his. Valerie and Aurora had literally turned her into a servant in her own house.

“Excuse me." She got up, took her glass of orange juice and walked out on him heading to the treehouse.
