Ep 48: Unexpected party night

Looking at the mirror Amyra rinsed her face with the water. It felt like ice falling on her face. But she needed it to wake herself up.

Swerving around she put her hands on the counter and tried calming down. The view from the wedding night kept playing before her eyes. Then again when she saw them together and the people were talking behind their back.

'You can kill it for your good. Just do it, just pretend like you... You don't care.' Amyra smiled brightly at the mirror and grabbed her purse, wanting to leave the washroom.

As she was at the door Layla entered the washroom. Layla looked different from Amyra in most aspects. She was a model, they said.

"You are Amyra right?" Layla asked her while doing her hair a little.

Amyra halted hearing her.

Seeing her silent, Layla uttered in a welcoming tone, "Xay has told me about you."

'Xay.' She never got a chance to call him that. Everytime someone called him 'Xay', she felt she was not close to him.
