Watching as she made her way down the road, I stayed hidden the best I could. I couldn't wait to see the look on her face. After seeing a light from the stairs opening and then darkness from them closing, I let her think she had gotten away.

Laying on the bed, I heard muffled voices coming from inside the room. Not really remembering much of the night before, I tensed up thinking of a way out.
