These are the facts I got from my mother. Luna Serene and Alpha Tristan of Blue Blood are my aunt and uncle. That makes the rogue Alpha my second cousin. My mother and Uncle Tristan are the children of two Alpha brothers. So that makes me a descendant of that pack too.

Great.

With this blood tie, I have more leeway when addressing the rogue Alpha. Family ties create more privileges and allow me easier access to the pack.

I bathe the triplets, dress them and lay them on my bed for them to take in my scent. Then I pump some breast milk and put it in the cooler in case I have to be away longer than planned. I put some of my clothes in their cot so that my scent is emphatic there too. I have also recorded a few songs for them to lull them and make them miss me less.

Rachel and Meg will take turns looking after them.

Meg can't resist driving me to Blue Blood. I could have reached the pack in wolf form, but I think she's hoping to catch a glimpse of the rogue Alpha. She
